Comergent Technologies Inc., Belmont, CA, yesterday released an enhanced version of its Distributed E-Business System for business-to-business Internet marketplaces.
The new features of the Comergent Distributed E-Business System v3.0 include:
* Partner Marketplace, which allows manufacturers' selling partners to process price and availability requests, manage shopping carts and link to other selling partners' e-commerce systems;
* Commerce Catalog, which allows customers to find and compare products;
* Marketing Manager, which allows marketplace partners to send tailored marketing messages and promotions to customers;
* Marketplace Analyzer, which allows managers to analyze e-commerce activities and establish new marketing programs and pricing promotions.
Pricing is determined by use and the number of applications licensed.
