Who it is: Lauren P. Flaherty, named EVP and CMO of CA Technologies

What’s her role: Flaherty will oversee all aspects of the company’s marketing initiatives.

Where was she prior: Before joining CA Technologies, Flaherty was EVP and CMO of Juniper Networks, a networking company. Prior to that she was CMO at Nortel Networks. 

Why was she appointed: “Lauren brings an incredible amount of business and marketing expertise to CA Technologies,” said Michael P. Gregoire, the company’s CEO. “Not only is she an outstanding marketing executive with a proven track record of success, her insight and knowledge of the technology industry, sales, and lead generation, will help us capitalize on emerging trends to further drive revenue growth across all of our businesses.”

Who it is: Jeff Hasen, appointed CMO of Mobivity Holdings Corp., a mobile marketing technologies and solutions company

What’s his role: Hasen will manage all of the company’s marketing efforts. 

Where was he prior: Hasen most recently served as CMO for Hipcricket.

Why was he appointed: “Establishing thought leadership and trusted brand awareness will be essential in executing on our mission to connect consumers to local businesses via the mobile channel,” said Dennis Becker, CEO of Mobivity. “Jeff’s track record as a trailblazer in the emerging mobile marketing industry speaks for itself and I’m delighted to have him aboard the management team here at Mobivity.”

Who it is: Mark Sarbiewski, appointed CMO of Anaplan, a provider of modeling and planning solutions for sales, operations, and finance

What’s his role: Sarbiewski will oversee all aspects of the company’s global marketing efforts.

Where was he prior: Most recently Sarbiewski held the CMO position at Clustrix, a scale-out SQL database company. Prior to Clustrix, he held senior product and marketing roles at HP Software, Mercury, and InterTrust Technologies Corporation. Mark was also a principal consultant for Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath and worked at IBM as an application software engineer.

Why was he appointed: “We are thrilled with Mark’s decision to join the team at Anaplan,” says Fred Laluyaux, the firm’s CEO , “He is a leading marketing expert who has brought several disruptive platforms and solutions to market. Who it is: Jeff Hughes appointed CMO of Core Digital Media

What’s his role: Hughes will lead all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts.

Where was he prior: Previous assignments with Core Digital Media include product and business development roles, as well as overseeing the startup of the company’s service offerings in the insurance vertical. Hughes took over leadership of the company’s marketing platform in 2010. 

Why was he appointed: “Over the past nine years, [Hughes and Vince Lewis, newly appointed COO] focused on clients and publisher partners, along with their innovative solutions to challenges arising from the ever-changing online marketplace, have transformed our business,” said Steve Krenzer, CEO of CPL Holdings.  “In addition, they come to win every day.”

Who it is: Jan Zlotnick, appointed CMO of Sprinklr, a social relationship platform

What’s his role: Zlotnick will manage the company’s global branding and marketing, public relations, and corporate communications. 

Where was he prior: Prior to joining Sprinklr, Zlotnick was CMO at GlobeOp Financial Services, a fund administrator. Previous experience includes brand strategist and creative director at advertising agencies serving such brands as BWM Motorcycles, I Love NY, and Bertolli.

Why was he appointed: “The true disruption of social is unveiling itself rapidly across the enterprise,” said Ragy Thomas, Sprinklr founder and CEO. “As recent M&A activity indicates, success in the social infrastructure space has broader implications within the enterprise software stack. We are excited to have a veteran marketing leader like Jan join the Social @Scale movement.”
