CMDI Will Unveil New Technology at AFP Show

CMDI, a database management provider for nonprofits, plans to release a more accessible version of its Donor Management System dMS 4.2 at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Trade Show in San Diego this week.

The new version will allow nonprofits to access their donor database from anywhere at any time with a desktop or laptop computer.

After logging in, registered users can query records using any number of criteria, such as name, address and donation history. They then can view, modify and add records.

Previously, users were required to request information through the database management vendor's account representative, who would process the user's request, gather the necessary data and forward it back — a process that took hours, if not days.

The trade show runs from March 11-13.
