E-mail marketing services provider ClickAction Inc. yesterday debuted the Email Education Center at www.emaileducation.net featuring advice about various areas of e-mail marketing, including best practices, segmentation strategies, privacy and acquisition strategies.
The channel, co-sponsored by the E-Business Communication Association, offers free membership to marketers, who can opt-in to receive e-mail updates and attend biweekly online seminars. Much of the advice is available as links to industry trade journal articles covering e-mail marketing, privacy issues, growing a database, using rich media e-mail and viral marketing.
“With the growing importance of highly targeted permission-based e-mail marketing communications, it is critical that we identify and deliver educational solutions, such as online seminars and expert advice, for marketers that augment their existing marketing initiatives,” said Geoff Smith, director of client programs at ClickAction.
The Email Education Center plans an online seminar covering best practices March 6, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
