Cisco, Siebel Partner On Contact Centers

CHICAGO — Cisco Systems Inc. and Siebel Systems Inc. announced an expanded set of Internet-protocol-based contact center solutions for companies migrating from legacy technology to IP-based infrastructures.

The announcement came at the International Call Center Management Conference and Exhibition here. The solutions integrate Siebel Call Center with components of the Cisco customer contact software platform — Cisco Intelligent Contact Management, Cisco Collaboration Server and the Cisco IP Contact Center Solution.

According to both companies, the integration of Cisco contact center solutions and Siebel e-business applications provides customer-centric e-business solutions to corporations looking to maximize the return on investment of their current infrastructure as they transform their call centers into next-generation contact centers.
