E.piphany Inc., San Mateo, CA, a customer relationship management software and service vendor, announced yesterday that CIGNA has selected E.piphany software to help deliver customized and personalized information to its 16 million CIGNA health care and retirement plan consumers.
On Jan. 9, CIGNA, Philadelphia, and Yahoo Enterprise Solutions announced an agreement that will generate personalized benefits Web sites for CIGNA members and participants starting in mid-2002. The CIGNA portals will integrate healthcare and financial information, including personalized information for CIGNA products and services.
E.piphany's Real-Time software will now be integrated with the Web sites to recognize consumers as they log-on to their personal Web pages. Once the member or participant is identified, the analytics technology in E.piphany Real-Time will offer consumers the option of receiving personalized content and/or an online education that is tuned to a member's life stage or reason for visiting the online benefits site.
