Chordiant Software Inc. yesterday introduced the Chordiant Insurance Industry Initiative, which is designed to form alliances and create a North American sales team targeting the insurance industry.
Software developed through the initiative will be based on the Chordiant JX Architecture and include applications designed for branch, partner, call center and back-office roles along with Web-based applications.
The software will provide an enterprise-wide view of the customer relationship, real-time business process automation and integration applications to automate customer-centric services, sales and retention processes.
Robert Mullen, senior vice president and general manager, will head the Chordiant Insurance Industry Initiative. Mullen has held a variety of senior positions withCupertino, CA-based Chordiant in North America and Europe over the past three years.
