Chico's FAS Inc. reported yesterday that sales for the four-week period ended Feb. 2 increased 26.8 percent to $28.9 million from $22.8 million in the prior year's same five-week period.
Total sales for the 13-week quarter ended Feb. 2 rose 38.7 percent to $101.4 million from $73.1 million in the same 14-week period last year.
Also, for the 52 weeks ended Feb. 2, total sales increased 45.7 percent to $378.1 million from $259.4 million for the prior year's 53-week period.
Fort Myers, FL-based Chico's sells women's apparel and accessories in its stores, catalogs and online.
