Chico's FAS Inc. reported sales for the four weeks ended Nov. 26 up 25.6 percent to $111.4 million. Same-store sales rose 11.8 percent during the period.
The Fort Myers, FL-based multichannel marketer of women's apparel also released its third-quarter and nine-month results yesterday.
For the third quarter ended Oct. 29, net sales rose 33 percent to $359 million. Same-store sales increased 16 percent while net income rose 43.5 percent to $53 million, or 29 cents per diluted share.
For the nine months ended Oct. 29, net sales increased 31.7 percent to $1.029 billion. Same-store sales rose 14.2 percent while net income climbed 38.1 percent to $150 million, or 82 cents per diluted share.
