Pop singer Cher yesterday announced she will release her upcoming album, titled “Not Commercial,” exclusively through her Web sites.
The new offering will go on sale Nov. 8 at www.cher.com and www.cherdirect.com for $13.99. It currently can be pre-ordered at both sites.
Cher is putting a warning label on the release’s packaging, as the subject manner is reportedly darker and the language more risqué than her major-label releases.
“Not Commercial” marks the first time the entertainer has written and recorded her own material. Also on the album, Cher sings a previously unreleased song written by her late ex-husband Sonny Bono.
