Cable television provider Charter Communications agreed to pay $75,000 to settle charges that it violated Missouri's no-call list, the state attorney general's office said yesterday.
Charter Communications, St. Louis, called Missourians on the state list to sell cable TV service, the attorney general's office said. The number and timing of the violations were not disclosed.
The company also agreed to avoid future violations or risk fines of $1,000 per illegal call. To date, the Missouri attorney general's office has collected $1,360,500 for violations of the state no-call law.
