Channel Intelligence, a Web-initiated e-commerce service, is expanding its SellCast Online service to Britain and other parts of Europe.
The new service from the Orlando, FL, company helps retailers by providing comparison-shopping engines that give consumers information on product availability and price. It also runs offers from advertising partners.
SellCast currently supports several European shopping sites such as Yahoo Shopping, Kelkoo, Froogle UK, Shopping.com UK and Shopzilla UK. U.S. marketers including Phillips, Best Buy, Target, Panasonic, Circuit City, Canon, Olympus and Fuji also use SellCast.
Channel Intelligence’s Geneva division anticipates a growing online retail environment in Europe.
