Change Technology Buys Canned Interactive

Change Technology Partners Inc., Greenwich, CT, purchased Canned Interactive, Los Angeles, in a stock and cash deal.

Change Technology will absorb Canned Interactive into its e-services practice, which offers strategic counsel, customer interface design and back-end integration.

Founded in 1993, Canned Interactive creates entertainment Web sites, DVDs and DVD-ROMs. It has created DVDs for movies such as “The Matrix” and “American Beauty” as well as Web sites for “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,” the “Rocky” re-release and the authorized Stanley Kubrick site.

Canned Interactive clients include DreamWorks SKG, New Line Cinema, Walt Disney Co., Sony Music, Sony Digital and Warner Bros.

Change Technology specializes in interactive work for clients such as Lehman Bros., the U.S. Army, Adobe Systems, Primedia, Hearst Corp. and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
