Centerling Partners with ELetter

Centerlinq, an interactive advertising and consumer aggregation network, said yesterday that its partnership with Eletter Inc., an Internet-based printing and mailing service, will enable Centerlinq's clients and retailers to deliver targeted direct mail messages.

Centerlinq, Los Angeles, a subsidiary of GenesisIntermedia.com Inc., is a network accessible via the Web and public access touch-screen Internet kiosks in shopping malls.

Currently reaching more than 33 million consumers per month, Centerlinq attracts an audience through a loyalty-shopping program, providing coupons, directories and quick-touch access to national advertising partners. The kiosks also provide information regarding the preferences and interests of the consumers who use them, enabling businesses to target people likely to buy their products and services.

Centerlinq and ELetter will develop, operate and offer a special co-branded Web site where mall managers will be able to upload their contact databases and mailing content to a proprietary, protected server. Eletter, San Jose, CA, will then print, fold, insert, address, stamp and deliver printed direct mail pieces to the post office within a few business days. At the co-branded Web site, clients will also be able to obtain free proofs of their printed mail pieces, free estimates and up-to-the-minute progress reports.

According to both companies, with ELetter, mall managers and retailers can concentrate on creating the right messages to effectively reach their affinity program members instead of spending their time on production and fulfillment.
