Real Select Inc., which operates the real-estate Web site www.realtor.com, has become the exclusive, endorsed provider of Web-related products and services to real estate franchises Century 21, Coldwell Banker and ERA through a five-year alliance with the franchises' parent company, Cendant Corp., Parsippany, NJ. Cendant, which also is a direct marketer of membership services, will assist Real Select, Westlake Village, CA, in marketing its products and services directly to brokers of its real estate franchises in return for Real Select's Web-site design, hosting and support services. Realtor.com, which carries more than 1.25 million listings, will be endorsed as the leading online distributor of the Cendant franchises' 330,000 online listings. The alliance is part of Cendant's global strategy to maximize exposure of its broker franchises and their listings.
