Viewers at CarSmart.com, a consumer information Web site for the automobile industry, are now able to get specifications and pricing about vehicles offered by Saturn Corp., according to an agreement between the two firms.
Because of the deal, Saturn, Irvine, CA, will receive consumer information resulting from purchase inquiries about the automaker at the Web site. CarSmart, San Ramon, CA, gains another notable name in the car industry as the site furthers its online offering of consumer information on automobiles. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This agreement follows CarSmart's recent sale to Autobytel.com Inc. That transaction combined the two companies' customer databases, now totaling more than 7 million consumers available on file for marketing campaigns. The database can pinpoint a customer's individual preferences for purchasing decisions such as vehicle color.
