Carnival Cruise Lines selected Information Quality Suite from Firstlogic Inc. to help manage its corporate data warehouse, La Crosse, WI-based Firstlogic said yesterday.
Carnival will use the Information Quality Suite to help build a single, enterprise-wide view of customers.
“We recognize that the quality of the information we collect and use is a critical component to successfully target, communicate with and better serve guests who choose one of our Fun Ship cruises vacations,” said Diana Rodriguez, director of database marketing for Carnival.
She said the Information Quality Suite identifies and standardizes data elements including customer information, e-mail addresses and account numbers. The software also corrects the data based on secondary data sources to improve matching and provide a more complete base of customer knowledge.
