Carney Direct, Client Due Back in Court Today

Carney Direct Marketing is expected back in court today with the aim of winning a preliminary injunction against former client First National Credit for the alleged misuse of mailing list names.

According to Carney, FNC reused almost 600,000 names provided for a previous mailing without approval or payment. Carney won a temporary restraining order June 7 in Orange County, CA, Superior Court.

FNC has denied the allegations and filed opposition papers that claimed Carney provided it with faulty data.

If the injunction is granted and the matter cannot be settled, the case will go to court.
