BTB Marketer Arnold Arrowitz Dies at 72

Business-to-business direct marketer Arnold Arrowitz, co-founder of the Rollout Marketing consulting firm, died two weeks ago in Boca Raton, FL. He was 72.

Along with longtime friend Gene Gluck, Arrowitz founded the company in 1981. He served as president of Rollout Marketing for 17 years. Before that, he spent seven years as director of marketing at Union Pen & Pencil in Elmsford, NY. Arrowitz rose to that post after spending two years at U.S. Pencil.

Arrowitz, who was affectionately known in the industry as “Arnie,” also held prominent positions at Pittsfield, MA-based Pittshire and at Amsterdam Printing & Litho, where he worked for seven years.

Arrowitz is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and two sisters.
