Britain's Boots Healthcare named Source Marketing, Westport, CT, as its U.S. ad agency of record for the Clearasil skin brand.
The account was won after a review involving an undisclosed number of agencies. Source's experience in consumer and trade marketing helped clinch the business awarded by Boots' U.S. head office in Stamford, CT.
Source is still determining the marketing mix and media for Clearasil. But direct and interactive are under consideration.
Separately, Regus, a leading operator of flexible office facilities with 400 centers worldwide, tapped Source as its agency.
The agency competed with seven undisclosed rivals to nab Regus' marketing focused on broker, corporate and end-user segments. Direct and interactive marketing are being considered as part of the advertising activities.
These wins add to Source's roster of clients like MetLife, Discovery, Reckitt Benckiser, Chase Manhattan Bank, America Online, Mattel and Beiersdorf. The agency has satellite offices in New York and Venice Beach, CA.
