DoubleClick Performics, the performance marketing division of DoubleClick Inc., has debuted AffiliateDirect, which Boltz Furniture used to produce new sales.
“Boltz Furniture generated new sales immediately upon launching our affiliate marketing program with DoubleClick Performics,” said Jeff White, managing partner at Boltz LLC, a beta advertiser and AffiliateDirect client. “The launch process was simple, and the channel has already proven to effectively drive growth for Boltz.com.”
The affiliate marketing program allows emerging online retailers and program managers not associated with DoubleClick Performics to license the company’s affiliate marketing technology and access the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network.
DoubleClick Performics beta tested AffiliateDirect from December 2006 through June 1. The beta test confirmed that the technology, previously used only by larger advertisers and internal DoubleClick Performics program managers, would be beneficial for smaller advertisers and external consultants managing multiple programs.
“Small advertisers can now use the same top-tier tools and expansive networks of online publishers that large advertisers and agencies use,” said Chris Henger, vice president of affiliate marketing, DoubleClick Performics. ” DoubleClick Performics wanted to provide a solution for self-managed affiliate marketing programs that empower emerging online retailers and program managers with the ability to license our technology and access our network.”
AffiliateDirect aids advertisers in managing all aspects of their affiliate marketing programs, including attracting, reaching and paying publishers, and tracking and reporting on performance.
As a result of the launch, a wider range of advertisers now have the improved ability to scale and enhance their affiliate marketing programs with top industry technology and partners.
“Self-service affiliate marketers can now leverage the same advantages their larger competitors count on, ensuring that they can monitor and manage their programs holistically, from attracting and paying publishers to tracking and reporting on performance,” Henger said.
AffiliateDirect provides compliance safeguards advertisers could never realistically assemble on their own, Henger claimed.
