Bluestreak Inc., a New York online marketing technology firm, bought e2 Communications Inc., an e-mail marketing services firm in Dallas.
The agreement bolsters Bluestreak's offerings in areas like customer acquisition, retention and relationship management. It also will yield more than 400 advertiser and agency clients served by e2 Communications.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Integration is key to the deal. The Web-based application service provider e-mail platform from e2 will be integrated with Bluestreak's Ion Marketing platform.
