Blue Shield of California has added ratings and reviews to its Web site through a partnership with social commerce firm Bazaarvoice.
Blue Shield members can share their feedback on different plans, and potential members can browse these reviews to help shop for a plan. The effort is already available to some members, and early feedback can be seen at www.blueshieldca.com/bsc/reviews/home.jhtml.
Members can rate different plans using a five-star scale to measure overall satisfaction, customer service, value, doctor access, prescription drug coverage and whether or not the plan is easy to use and understand.
