Black Box Corp., a manufacturer of networking solutions that sells through a catalog and Web site, announced declining revenue and net income yesterday for its 2003 fiscal third quarter.
Total revenue for the quarter, which ended Dec. 29, was $153 million, down 15 percent from $179 million last year and down 6 percent from the '03 second quarter. Net income was $14.8 million, down from $16.9 million last year and just below the $15 million reported in the second quarter.
During the nine months ended Dec. 29, net income was $44.5 million compared to $49.1 million for the same period last year. Total revenue for the nine months reached $470 million, down from $583 million for the same period last year.
