Bid4Assets Inc. recently announced a deal with GE Capital Commercial Finance that will result in the Web-based assets liquidation firm offering financing options to its buyers.

GE Capital Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of General Electric, Stamford, CT, will offer some of its customary services such as working capital, growth capital, asset-based and cash-flow financing, equity, letters of credit and bank-loan refinancing.

“By linking with GE Capital, we are able to give our customers more options and flexibility when purchasing assets,” said Jim Russell, president of Bid4Assets, Silver Spring, MD.

His firm offers an auction setting to buy and sell financial instruments, real estate, intangible property, personal property and bankruptcy claims. The 2-year-old firm claims to have conducted more than 5,000 auctions.
