VHA Inc., a network of 2,200 community hospitals, has chosen The Beryl Cos. to provide outsourced call center services, Beryl announced yesterday.
Beryl will provide inbound and outbound teleservices, including physician referral services, seminar registration, product telemarketing and online customer services, to the hospitals in the network. Beryl also will provide consultation services for hospitals in the VHA network with internal call centers and can assist with integrating call center services with the Web.
Beryl will provide services to VHA from its 50,000-square-foot call center in Dallas, also the company's headquarters. Full terms of the deal between VHA and Beryl were not disclosed.
Nearly 26 percent of the community hospitals in the United States are part of the VHA network. VHA is a cooperative and distributes income annually to its members.
