A new mail manifesting option that documents postage for Standard Mail letters or flats in the same mailing was launched last week by BCC Software Inc., a B…WE BELL + HOWELL company and provider of mailing software and services.
The option will be for the Rochester, NY, company's Mail Manager 2010 presorting and list management software.
After a mailer finishes presorting a list for a Standard Mail job with Mail Manager 2010, the mail manifesting option makes it possible to print a manifest key line on each piece, and generates a batch or itemized manifest report corresponding to the key lines printed on each piece in the mailing.
The mailing may then be submitted to the U.S. Postal Service for processing with all appropriate postal discounts.
