Database and transaction technology provider NCR Corp., Dayton, OH, this week said it would supply its Relationship Optimizer software suite to Bank of America. The Charlotte, NC, bank will use the technology to leverage the information in its database by creating highly targeted, event-driven marketing programs through multiple channels. NCR Corp. said Bank of America was one of 10 companies worldwide installing the software. Other banking firms in Europe, Japan and Australia are also using the technology, along with an online travel company, an airline and European and Korean telecommunications companies.
