Billserv.com Inc., San Antonio, earlier this month signed a multiyear, exclusive agreement to implement an electronic bill presentment and payment system for Avista Utilities, Spokane, WA.
Avista Utilities, a subsidiary of Avista Corp., has provided energy for 110 years and serves more than 550,000 natural gas and electric customers in eastern Washington, northern Idaho and parts of Oregon and California.
Billserv will implement a direct billing model enabling Avista customers to view and pay their bills directly on Avista's Web site.
Billserv also will help Avista Utilities expand its online customer care capabilities.
