Automated Service Aids Franchisees With Mail Efforts

Altair Data Resources announced the launch yesterday of MailXpress, an online system that lets companies with multiple offices or franchise locations send targeted direct mail campaigns preapproved by corporate.

MailXpress walks users through a system that begins with a customized prospect database. Users select from preapproved templates to create personalized mail pieces with branch- or franchise-specific information, including business addresses and phone numbers, maps, directions and special offers. The user then picks a mailing date. Quality-control checks are integrated throughout the process. Customized reports are available and include information about which locations are mailing, quantities and mail dates.

MailXpress was designed for supermarkets, lawn-care and pest-control companies, restaurants, banks and credit unions, automotive dealerships, insurance agencies and other franchise or multi-branch companies.

Altair, Franklin, TN, also offers an automated, online direct mail program tailored for mortgage refinance, first-time homeowners and home equity offers. Campaigns are available for attracting customers to new FHA, VA or conventional loans and preapproved debt consolidation. Other mortgage lead generation campaigns are in place for sub-prime lenders and attracting first-time homebuyers with A credit.

Altair lists are updated daily with credit data, weekly with mortgage and new-homeowner data and monthly with lifestyle and demographic data. Information comes from more than 20 national and regional data sources and Altair's own compiled files.
