Web auditors ABC Interactive, BPA International and Engage I/PRO said yesterday that they plan to launch a collaborative Web site designed to allow visitors access to verified, census-based traffic numbers from audited Web sites.
The venture, Audit Central, will provide traffic numbers from all sites that publicize audit reports.
The companies said the site would give media buyers and investors a single source to compare numbers. The announcement was made at the Jupiter Online Advertising Forum in New York.
The site is expected to launch early next month.
