The Grizzard Agency’s Grizzard Animal Care Team, which is dedicated to animal welfare nonprofit organizations, has been selected as agency of record for the Atlanta Humane Society and Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Inc.
Grizzard begins services to the society this month. Atlanta-based Grizzard began work with animal welfare groups in 1975, and the Atlanta Humane Society was its first client. Its work later would become a model used to launch direct marketing programs designed for animal welfare organizations nationwide. Today, Grizzard’s Animal Care Team division spearheads the agency’s work.
The Atlanta Humane Society is a private nonprofit organization that acts as a regional center for the needs of animals, pet owners and the community concerning animal welfare issues and problems. The group, founded in 1873, has a large donor base, and most donors have given in the past three years.
Grizzard will develop and implement a comprehensive direct marketing campaign for the society aimed at renewing current and lapsed donors as well as acquiring new ones. To expand the society’s reach, the campaign eventually will include Internet as well as other multichannel media. Services will include strategy, design and copy development as well as market analysis and national benchmarking.
