Ask Jeeves Inc. is expected today to relaunch JeevesOne, a customer relations program designed to let businesses improve their marketing.
JeevesOne, Emeryville, CA, lets businesses add a self-branded “Ask” button to their Web sites that can answer viewer questions about their products and services. Compaq, Dell and Chrysler are among many major brands that have employed the system. For instance, Compaq has an “Ask Compaq” button at its site.
The enhanced version comes with analytics such as a return on investment calculator, a feature called Gaining Concepts that uses an algorithm to show query trends and an application that reports what content areas need enhancements.
Pricing on the software system starts at $100,000.
