Xchange Inc., a customer relationship management solutions vendor, said yesterday that Ask Jeeves UK has selected Xchange's eMessaging ASP service to drive its e-marketing campaigns.
Xchange eMessaging will have Ask Jeeves UK design and implement personalized, permission-based e-mail campaigns. Xchange, Boston, said that because Ask Jeeves is using Xchange's ASP solution, which is completely hosted and managed, the search engine will be able to focus internal resources on developing strong content as opposed to investing in technology infrastructure or staff to manage campaigns.
EMessaging incorporates advanced personalization techniques, letting clients tailor each e-mail driven by a campaign according to the recipient's personal interests. In addition, eMessaging gives marketers a detailed view of campaign results using reporting capabilities and trackable URLs to make improvements to ongoing campaigns.
Ask Jeeves UK said it would enhance its online communications with customers with personalized updates on new services and promotions tailored to individual interests and preferences.
