Arial Adds Unsubscribe to E-Mail Software for Small Business

Arial Software, Tucson, AZ, introduced an unsubscribe feature today in its e-mail marketing software for small businesses and nonprofits.

The click-through unsubscribe option added to Arial's Email Marketing Director 3 version, a feature typically found in enterprise-level e-mail marketing products, allows for automatic removal of e-mail recipients who request to be unsubscribed.

“This feature addresses e-mail marketing compliance concerns while freeing up small business owners to focus on other aspects of their marketing,” according to a statement from Arial.

Though Arial and other e-mail software firms already offer unsubscribe features, those are usually more expensive programs, Arial CEO Mike Adams said.

“This is a low-cost desktop software product that can handle big list sizes,” he said. “You don't need a big technical department to integrate this thing.”

Other new features in Email Marketing Director 3, the company said, include smoother e-mail subscriber list importation, enhanced list view and easier list filtering.
