Arcidea LLC, a customer relationship management software and solutions company, announced on Friday its official start of business and introduced its software products and services that are targeted to the small business market.
Arcidea's products are built upon IBM's Lotus Domino platform and are closely aligned with Lotus Knowledge Management products.
Arcidea's initial eight-application product set is divided into two suites: CRM and Collaborative Business Management. Arcidea's CRM Suite includes standard applications for sales force automation, customer service, marketing management and e-commerce. Its Collaborative Business Management Suite includes applications for human resources, project management, office automation and help desk.
Arcidea's president, Tom Dixon, said the company also offers consulting services that are the foundation to all the products.
“Blueprinting, impact studies and process re-engineering are the real differentiators among any business software implementation,” said Dixon. “Here is where we clear up what CRM is for each customer, and our people know how to perform these services better than anyone.”
Initially, Atlanta-based Arcidea will focus on five vertical markets: manufacturing, medical supply, energy, financial services and transportation.
Accompanying the company's start is the launch of a Web site, www.arcidea.com. The site contains product and services information and will grow to provide additional online services by mid-year.
