AppointmentWeb, San Francisco, announced this week a new service that will offer consumers the facility to book appointments and reservations through the Internet with a number of businesses in their area.
Due to launch this fall, the service enables appointments to be booked with chiropractors, hair salons, golf courses and restaurants, saving time for consumers who can ask for appointment reminders to be sent to their e-mail, pager or mobile phone. Reminders can be sent one day or one hour before the appointment is scheduled.
The company believes this service will help businesses to expand clientele and keep track of customer service and retention.
