The Direct Marketing Association's Financial Services Council will present its “Executive of the Year” award to Charles Thalheimer, vice president, direct distribution at Allstate Insurance Co.
Thalheimer will be honored at a luncheon during the council's legislative conference June 26 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.
“The DMA Financial Services Council recognizes Charles for his outstanding contributions and long-standing commitment to the advancement of direct marketing in the financial services industry,” said Shawn Morris, JCG Ltd., and chair of financial services council.
Thalheimer has directed Allstate's Direct Response Distribution business for the past 20 years. He is responsible for examining potential distribution alliances and opportunities. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing projects including Allstate's e-commerce initiative, the management of the Sears/Allstate marketing alliance and a telephone marketing management process to better manage the annual telephone marketing budget.
Nominations for Executive of the Year are made by council members. Winners are chosen by the council's nominating committee. Nominees need not be members of the DMA or the financial services council, but are expected to adhere to the DMA's Code of Ethics.
