Alliance Data Systems Corp. signed a contract renewal through 2012 with United Retail Group Inc., the provider of transaction, credit and marketing services said yesterday. The value of the contract was not released.
Alliance Data, Dallas, will continue providing a private-label credit card solution for United Retail's Avenue stores, an Alliance client since 1998. The apparel company also sells merchandise via its Avenue catalog and Avenue.com. A specialty retailer of plus-size women's fashion apparel, Avenue has 500 retail locations nationwide.
Alliance Data will continue providing services including account acquisition and activation; receivables funding; card authorization; private-label credit card issuance; statement generation; remittance processing; customer service functions and marketing services.
