Alliance Data Systems Corp., a transaction, credit and marketing services provider, announced yesterday the renewal of an agreement to provide private-label credit card services for New York & Company Inc., New York, through 2012.
New York & Company, formerly known as Lerner New York, is a specialty retailer of fashion-oriented, moderately priced women's apparel with 2003 sales of nearly $1 billion. Alliance Data, Dallas, continues its relationship with New York & Company, providing an integrated private-label credit card program for its 486 locations nationwide and its Web site (http://www.nyandcompany.com).
Alliance Data will provide account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, private-label credit card issuance, statement generation, marketing and loyalty services, remittance processing and customer service functions. Alliance's database marketing practice also works with the retailer to provide analysis and segmentation for its direct marketing.
