AIM Names Noonan Executive Director

The Association for Interactive Marketing, a subsidiary of the Direct Marketing Association, yesterday named Kevin Noonan executive director.

He will oversee AIM operations effective Nov. 4. AIM has more than 300 member companies.

Noonan has more than 12 years of media, Internet and e-commerce experience. He served as group vice president of the Internet and media research area at The Yankee Group. He led research for Internet marketing strategies, mobile commerce strategies, media and entertainment strategies and multichannel retail strategies.

He was a founding member of Nielsen Media Research Interactive Services Division and held several sales positions at Forefront Technologies, @plan Inc. and Bell Canada Enterprises.

“We are making membership growth a major activity this year,” said Michael Faulkner, DMA senior vice president of segments and affiliates. “We have set a goal to grow AIM membership by 100 new members by July 30, 2003. He will make sales calls and demonstrate the value of AIM membership to the Internet marketing community. Potential prospects include companies doing business on the Internet that you wouldn't think of as Internet marketing companies.”
