Chase’s ‘BizMobile’ Is Marketing Advice On Wheels

Chase Bank is delivering marketing advice to-go this June.

On Thursday, the financial services company announced the roll out of the ‘BizMobile,’ a mobile business advice center catering to small business owners.

Visitors can sign up for free 20-minute, one-on-one consultations on a variety of topics, including digital marketing, leadership advice, and of course, financial planning. The 27-foot trailer also include digital content experiences and interactive displays visitors can explore.

Outside the trailer, visitors can enjoy a more traditional event experience, with games, refreshments and product discovery from local vendors.

Brent Reinhard, head of marketing and product, Chase,  said the idea for the BizMobile came “from our customers.”

“We host multiple client events throughout the country, providing access to experts that go beyond banking topics, and it really resonated,” Reinhard said in a email. “So, we decided to go mobile, and bring the BizMobile to communities where time-strapped small business owners can get quick, actionable advice. It’s all about helping small businesses be successful.”

Chase worked with communications firm Zen Media to help conceptualize the project. MRA Mobile Experiential Tours — a Detroit-based mobile marketing firm (literally, mobile) — helped bring the BizMobile to life.

“Many business owners don’t have the time or resources to go to a big conference or training class, so we’re hitting the road and meeting them where they are,” said Andrew Kresse, CEO of Business Banking at Chase said in a release. “Whether they’re a start-up or fourth-generation, small business owners are always looking for ways to grow and improve.  We want to give them the right advice and expertise they need to succeed at that moment.”

The BizMobile tour kicks off at the WBENC National Conference in Detroit on June 19. Other scheduled stops include the Techstars Startup Week Detroit (June 20-21), Miami (June 26), Orlando (June 28) and Boca Raton (June 29).

Small business owners are invited to sign up for consultations in advance, or right on-site.
