The Association of Fundraising Professionals announced the creation of new chapters in Massachusetts and Virginia.
The new Massachusetts Central Chapter serves the Worcester area and named Janet L. Hedrick president. Hedrick is director of clinical campaigns at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Foundation.
The new Virginia Hampton Road Chapter serves the Norfolk, Hampton and Virginia Beach areas and has named Robin Deal president. Deal is director of development and donor services at The Norfolk Foundation.
The addition of these chapters brings AFP's total chapter count in North America to 161
