Advo Inc., Windsor, CT, the cooperative direct mailer, said yesterday that it would launch its first national TV and radio advertising campaign to encourage consumers to open its envelopes and respond to the advertisements inside.
The ad campaign, developed by Omnicom agency TLP-Dallas, will support Advo’s ShopWise Shared Mail advertising product, which is delivered to more than 60 million households weekly.
The TV spots feature families planning their weekly shopping. The campaign will begin Sunday with three weeks of national cable TV advertising on several stations, including TV Food Network, Home and Garden Television, Fox Family Channel and Lifetime. Radio spots are expected to follow later this year.
