Ziff Davis Media will merge the assets of its The Net Economy into Advanstar's America's Network, the two companies said yesterday.
In addition, the companies said they will market each other's business-to-business technology-related assets.
The incorporation of The Net Economy assets and subscriber base into America's Network will increase Advanstar's coverage of the telecom audience, according to the companies. Ziff Davis Media's corporate sales team also will include America's Network in its multi-title print sales efforts. The Net Economy ceased publication with its May 20 issue.
The promotion and sales alliance between the companies will include Ziff Davis Media's PC Magazine, Eweek, CIOInsight and Baseline publications and Advanstar's AIIM, On Demand, ICCM, eLearning, Frontline Solutions and Collaborate trade shows and conferences.
