Ad:tech chair Susan Bratton leaves her position next year, opening a slot for a new leader to manage the growth of ad:tech conferences around the world.
The Larkspur, CA-based conference organizer also is looking for marketing and programming talent in London, Beijing and Shanghai to support ad:tech shows in Europe and Asia, Ms. Bratton told DM News.
The new chair needs “deep knowledge of the interactive marketing industry, and experience in programming conferences is secondary,” she said. “Someone with an editorial background [is preferred].”
All positions are paid. Please address inquiries to [email protected], with the subject header “Job.”
Ad:tech currently holds shows in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London and Shanghai in addition to one-day events in 10 North American cities. It plans to add shows this year in Sydney, Australia; Hamburg, Germany; and Paris, and next year in Mumbai, India; Dubai; Singapore and Tokyo.
“People all over the world are doing digital marketing,” she said. “So they want to make sure there’s an ad:tech in every key market all over the world.”
Ms. Bratton long has been the public face of ad:tech, handling the job with aplomb and confidence. The former excite.com executive now runs her own Los Altos, CA-based marketing consultancy called Cendara. She will continue her involvement with ad:tech, albeit in a different manner.
“My role will be to support all the people coming in — back-channel support,” she said.
