Adrienne Shelly Foundation gains board, Web site

The Adrienne Shelly Foundation, a nonprofit established by list veteran Andy Ostroy for his late wife, has debuted a board of directors as well as a Web site offering details about its mission and donation options.

At http://www.adrienneshellyfoundation.org/, the site will offer scholarships and grants to women filmmakers and carry an online donation feature.

Board members include Mr. Ostroy, who is chairman/CEO of New York list services firm Belardi/Ostroy ALC LLC; Elizabeth Benjamin, a producer on the Fox TV crime series “Bones”; and Dan Katcher, partner at public relations shop Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher.

Ms. Shelly was slain Nov. 1 in her West Village office. She appeared in more than 20 films including Hal Hartley’s “Trust” and “The Unbelievable Truth.” She also wrote, directed and acted in three movies, including “Waitress,” which premieres next month at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The foundation plans to hold a benefit sometime next year.
