Adrea Rubin Offers New File Segments

Adrea Rubin Management Inc., New York, announced three new Warranty It! lists of consumers who recently sent in new product warranty registrations to manufacturers.

The Warranty It! Households With Children file has 155,800 last-3-month names and 44,700 1-month hotline names.

The Warranty It! Seniors file has 653,700 last-3-month names of consumers 50 and older as well as 295,800 last-3-month hotline names of consumers 65 and older.

The Warranty It! Hispanics file has 47,000 last-3-month names and 1-month hotline names totaling 13,400.

The files cost $80/M to $105/M. Additional selects are available from the Warranty It! Masterfile.

Chessie Opens Western Location

Chessie Lists Inc., Silver Spring, MD, opened a Western sales office in Park City, UT. The new location is a full-service list brokerage. List management and accounting functions will continue to be handled from Chessie's headquarters in Silver Spring.

Chessie account executive Jim Hauschild has moved from Maryland to direct the new office. He has been with the firm nearly seven years and specializes in business-to-business list brokerage. Hauschild can be contacted in the Utah location at 435/649-4849.

Direct Media Sells CatalogLink

Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, sold the assets of CatalogLink to Altura International, Monterey, CA, for an undisclosed amount last month.

CatalogLink is a Web site where consumers can sign up to get information about hundreds of catalogs and request copies of those that interest them. Altura develops and maintains custom online shopping malls for catalogers including Harry & David, Blair, Bombay and Plow & Hearth.

Under the agreement, Direct Media has a one-year revenue-sharing arrangement with Altura and the option to purchase stock warrants in the firm.

Edith Roman Flies Old Glory

Edith Roman Associates Inc., Pearl River, NY, took over management of the Old Glory catalog file of more than 73,300 last-12-month buyers of rock music-related collectibles, apparel, art, videos and DVDs.

Old Glory buyers are 40 percent male, ages 18 to 50, with an average household income of $75,000+. The average order on the file is $60. Selects include geography, recency, gender, dollar and multi-buyers.

The file's base price is $95/M. Edith Roman recommends it for offers including apparel, electronics, gifts, collectibles, continuity clubs, sports, fundraising, financial, insurance and publishing.

Lake Wins Opt-In E-Mail File

The Lake Interactive division of Lake Group Media Inc., Rye, NY, was awarded management of the JDR Media list of more than 6.5 million opt-in e-mail addresses.

The people on the file opted in at JDR Media Inc. partner Web sites to receive online offers. The file is 51 percent female and contains detailed demographic and lifestyle information. Selections include geography, gender, age, income, homeowner, presence of children, age of children, occupation, credit card, online buyer, telephone number and interest categories.

Lake Interactive recommends this list for credit card, apparel, automotive, sports equipment, computer, sweepstakes, book club, video and Internet services offers. JDR Media was formerly known as MatchLogic and was a subsidiary of Excite@Home.

Names and Addresses Gets Publishing Lists

Names and Addresses Inc. took over three subscriber files from duPont Registry.

The duPont Registry Fine Automobiles file has 16,200 active subscribers with an average age of 42 and average income of $315,000. It is 90 percent male, and the average subscription price is $49.95.

The duPont Registry Fine Boats file has 7,400 active subscribers with an average age of 42 and average income of $315,000. It is 75 percent male, and the average subscription price is $15.95.

The duPont Registry Fine Homes file has 4,800 active subscribers with an average age of 42 and average income of $345,000. It is 60 percent male, and the average subscription price is $29.95.

Geographical selects are available on all three files, and each has a base price of $125/M.

In other NAI news, the firm has relocated its offices to 195 N. Arlington Heights Road, Suite 125, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-8212. Its telephone number remains unchanged.

CNET Adds Selects

NetCreations' PostMasterDirect division announced new selects on the CNET.com Opt-In E-Mail Masterfile of more than 1 million prospect names. The CNET.com file contains names from CNET.com, News.com, Download.com, CNET Radio and CNET Computer Shopper Magazine.

The new selects are country, job function and business category. Other selects on the file include geography, gender, age, recency and job title. Base price on this file is $300/M.

Rubin Announces Telemarketing Selects

Rubin Response Management Services Inc., Schaumburg, IL, announced telemarketing selects for the Software Development magazine postal and e-mail files.

The postal list has more than 88,800 qualified U.S. subscribers. Telemarketing to the postal file is $300/M.

The opt-in e-mail address list has more than 50,600 subscribers. A telephone follow-up to an e-mail campaign is now available for $300/M.

Other selects on the Software Development files include geography, job title, employee size, operating system and development responsibility.

Worldata Debuts BTB File

Worldata, Boca Raton, FL, debuted the Purchasing Power Masterfile of more than 5.5 million executives with buying influence at their companies.

This business-to-business file is compiled from several sources that are not currently available separately, according to Worldata.

Selects include geography, job title, company revenue, employee size, industry, home address and recency. Worldata said that telephone number and e-mail selects would be available by the end of this year.

The base price on the file is $90/M, and selects are free on orders prior to Jan. 1, 2003.
