Database services provider Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, AR, said yesterday it would offer to incorporate the Protagona customized marketing solution into its insurance-industry customer relationship management products. Acxiom said the agreement would allow it to leverage Recognition Systems’ insurance-marketing expertise with its own database expertise.
Protagona, the flagship product of Recognition Systems PLC, Birmingham, England, helps businesses create consistent marketing messages through all their marketing communications media, including the Internet and traditional direct marketing vehicles. It will be offered as part of Acxiom’s Solvitur solutions for insurance companies, which offer customer data, data integration and data delivery.
Recognition Systems said the alliance between the two companies evolved in part from the number of prospective clients Acxiom and Recognition Systems had in common.
