Acxiom Taps Allen as President of Marketing Services

Third-party data provider Acxiom today announced the hiring of Nielsen marketing strategist Jeremy Allen as president of its marketing services unit, a move the company proclaimed would “reinvigorate Acxiom’s marketing services capabilities.

Allen, a Harvard MBA, spent 10 years with McKinsey & Company before joining Nielsen as SVP of professional services in 2010. He was promoted to EVP of advertiser solutions before being moved to EVP of the ratings company’s marketing effectiveness practice earlier this year. At Acxiom, he will be responsible for driving growth and profitability.

His appointment completes a restructuring at the company, says Acxiom, which earlier included the presidential level appointments of Rick Erwin at the audience solutions unit, Warren Jensen in international, and Travis May at connectivity.

“Jeremy’s ability to innovate and delight customers is key to growth and further advancing our marketing services offering,” said Acxiom CEO Scott Howe.
